A Smart T-shirt that powers your smartphone! Stretchy Supercapacitors will revolutionize Wearable Electronics. Traditional batteries are thick and rigid thus not ideal for materials that would be used in tiny malleable devices. The University of Surrey has created a flexible and stretchy supercapacitor “that can be easily integrated into footwear, clothing, and accessories”. This Flexible supercapacitor retains 76% after 5,000 cycles & stores energy up to 20µWh/cm2.
